In Pisangan, Rajasthan most of the women are illiterate and unemployed. Their financial condition is bad as the number of individuals earning are very minimal. Most of the girls and women are dependent on others for their daily expenses. Sometimes they also take unethical ways of earning like prostitution, stealing, smuggling etc. This initiative helps marginalized and deprived girls by providing them skill development training on sewing, handicraft, bag making, weaving, knitting etc so that the problem of unemployment will end and poor girls of the deprived community will get sustainable livelihood and hence become independent. Your support will help 20 women to attend the training. Cost to train 20 women for 6 months is mentioned below : Trainer’s honorarium (Rs. 8,000 x 2 trainers x 6 months) – Rs. 96,000 Raw materials (Rs. 500 X 20 trainees X 6 months) – Rs. 60,000 Total Cost – Rs. 1,56,000 for 6 months for 20 women Cost for 1 women for 6 months – Rs. 7,800 Cost of 1 women training for 1 month – Rs. 1300
